" How to Compress a Word Document "

  1.  Click on a picture in your Word document
  2.  Click the "Compress Pictures" button. You will find this button on the Picture toolbar.
  3. The Compress Pictures dialog box appears.
  4.  Click the Options button
  5.  Select the "Automatically perform basic compression on save" check box.
  6.  Select the "Delete cropped areas of pictures" check box.
  7.  Unless you intend to make high resolution copies of the document you can select "Email" or "Screen" option.
  8.  Press OK and save the document.
  9. These few steps will save room on your hard disk drive and as well reduce download times.
